Diet therapy in rheumatoid arthritis

RHEMATOID ARTHRITIS
Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease which exhibits disturbances in the region of the hands and feet and sometimes in other parts of the body.

Excess weight is the most significant association of diet and arthritis.
In case of increased body weight (beyond the norm), the body is affected negatively and of course the arthritis symptoms are persistant.
The Mediterranean diet, is one of the best  treatments of arthritis.   Fish consumption  such as sardines, mackerel, tuna and salmon, of at least two servings of fish per week.
help increase the body's protection.
However, women who are pregnant and teenage girls should not exceed two servings per week.

Also, you need to integrate into your daily diet, foods that are rich in iron that help establish healthy transport of oxygen to the tissues and muscles.

Foods such as yogurt, yellow cheese and milk which are  rich in calcium should be present in our everyday diet. It should be noted that semi-skimmed milk in comparison of full fat milk offer exactly the same amount of calcium with much less fat.
