Barbie has ... cellulite

There is a Revolution in the world of toys.
Beauty standards represented by Barbie are now revised.   Dot Pigeon is an artist, and graphic designer based in Milan, created a not so flawless image of the famous doll. "Enough with the false perfection," he says.
Barbie, the toy - symbol of ideal beauty, however in Pigeon's  version, Barbie has the familiar blond hair tied back ponytail, wearing a swimsuit, but there is a detail in the thighs and buttocks, cellulite is ... and this makes it more human, with plenty of imperfections.
In fact, for some years, Mattel's  brand,  of the most famous doll in the world made great strides to break away from the stereotypical figure of a thin blonde woman,  with a "tiny waist".

The Barbie with cellulitis of Dot Pigeon is currently only a graphic design, but, when published in his Instagram profile, became viral.
It is not the first time that the beauty standards of Barbie, are being revised.

Lammily, the doll created by Nickolay Lamm in 2014, was designed based on the proportions of a normal 19 year old, curvy and medium stature.
On March 8, 2018,  Women's Day celebration, and Barbie's 60 year anniversary  from the sale of the first doll,  Mattel announced new models of Barbie. 
Specifically, 17 new models of Barbie will pay tribute to women who have written and continue to write history: among others, Frida Kahlo, painter, Katherine Johnson, scientist of Nasa, Yuan Yuan Tan, Ballerina Ballet San Francisco and Sara Gama , leader of women's football team Juventus and the Italian national women's football team.

Dandruff: you will defeat it without chemicals

Dandruff is a common chronic disorder of the scalp characterized by peeling skin. Although it is not contagious and is rarely serious, dandruff can be embarrassing and sometimes difficult to treat.
The good news is that dandruff usually ....

It can be controlled. In mild cases of dandruff, the person may simply need daily shampooing with a gentle cleanser. In the most severe cases of dandruff, use of a medicinal shampoo is essential.

In any case, there are some simple materials that you can use along with your shampoo to get rid faster or further refine the unsightly flakes dandruff:

Aspirin
Aspirin containing the same active ingredient (salicylic acid), as many pharmaceutically antidandruff shampoo. Crush two aspirins into powder and place in a normal amount of shampoo you use every time you wash your hair. Leave the mixture in your hair for 1-2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water and wash your hair again with a simple shampoo.

Cider vinegar
Many dermatologists claim that apple cider vinegar is a good cure against dandruff. The acidity of apple-vinegar changes the pH of the scalp, creating a very hostile environment for the growth of the fungus Malassezia. Mix 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of water, put the solution into a spray bottle and with this your scalp. Then wrap your head with a towel and let the solution sit for 15 minutes to an hour. Then wash your hair as usual. Repeat twice a week.

mouthwash
To treat dandruff, you can also first wash your hair with your regular shampoo and then rinse with mouthwash with alcohol base. Then put the conditioner as you normally would. The antifungal activity in mouthwash help prevent dandruff, because, as the apple cider vinegar, prevent fungal growth.

Are rusks (Dry Bread) more fattening than bread?

"Eliminate bread  and you will lose weight" they say everywhere, yet there is no need to cut bread to maintain your figure!

"It is common these days for people that diet, to question various rumors about excluding bread from their caloric intake, however, there is no scientific evidennce that it works for weight loss " says Clinical dietitian Nutritionist Michael Makryllos.

The Right consumption of  bread is not fattening:
 There are no fattening foods or foods that make you slimmer. "It should be clear that the issue of weight management depends exclusively on the total daily caloric intake. A properly balanced diet must be characterized by moderation and variety, based on all  food groups," explains Clinical Dietitian Nutritionist Michael Makyllos .
Indeed, the fluffy and delicious bread will help you reduce fat from your body. "Dietary fiber contained in  bread, if taken in moderation reduces fat absorption, improves bowel function and blood sugar levels,"says Mr. Makryllos.

Dark  or white bread?So it is up to you to choose the right whole grain bread "Breads made from whole grains are better than " white " refined breads, which contain much less (dietary) fiber."

Bread vs Rusks
Compared to rusks,  bread has fewer calories per 100 grams of weight because it contains more water and has no added  fat or sugar (which may be added to  rusks).
-100 gr. of rusks contain about  341 calories while a slice of  white bread has only 269 gr.  and 243 gr. for whole wheat.
It was believed that  bread should be replaced by rusks.    However, it is proven that  the opposite is true. Besides, you should not forget that rusks- toast is simply "dehydrated bread" therefore bread is preferable, since it tastes better and has fewer calories, than rusks.
So choose from the wide variety of breads that can be found at your local bakery:
- The common (white) bread  with 70% refined type flour without bran.
- The rye bread made from a mixture of wheat flour and rye flour.
- The whole wheat bread  prepared by grinding whole wheat (with peel) and
- The whole-multi-grain bread made from the whole grain, such as wheat, barley, rye, oats and corn.
Just note that anything less processed is more nutritious, and better when counting calories.
